The talk was part of the 2023 IDSA International Design Conference & Education Symposium, the annual gathering of industrial design professionals, in New York.
Taking inspiration from the conference’s theme of “resilience,” Gil revealed how dyslexia, often characterized solely as a limitation, can actually be an asset to design challenges.
He also spoke about how to leverage strategies that come naturally to dyslexics to enhance how they work, think, create and problem-solve.
